With just five brood cows, he embarked on a journey that would eventually see the family farm grow to raise just under 400 head of cattle. It's been a true family affair, and today we're proud to carry on the Porter family's tradition of hard work, dedication, and passion for farming.

At Porter Farms, we believe that a healthy herd starts with a healthy land. That's why we go the extra mile to ensure our cattle have access to fresh and clean water, and are fenced out of streams and ponds. Our cows graze on nutritious forage, and during the winter months, they're supplemented with hay and farm grown silage to keep them healthy and happy.

We're not just committed to the health of our cattle, but to their well-being too. That's why we're proud to be GAP Certified (Global Animal Partnership), which means that our cattle are raised humanely, with the utmost care and respect.
